Chris Peacock sits on the Steering committee of the Simcoe County Food Council and chairs the Orillia Food Committee and the Feed Ontario Advocacy Committee. With his management skills he has helped transform The Sharing Place from a traditional food bank into a food centre offering a wide range of programs that help people who are food insecure.

Chris will speak about the growing need for increased income, housing and food access in our community and how The Sharing Place is helping address these concerns. As Chris reviews these programs be prepared to learn how impactful these programs are and the partnerships and advocacy involved.
