The glorious temperatures gave us a beautiful day, just perfect for our event. We sold 509 tickets and raised over $29,000 for our scholarship fund which supports scholarships for young women in the Orillia area who are pursuing postsecondary education. 119 volunteers worked together to make our 47th Annual Homes for Scholarships Tour a huge success. Volunteers included CFUW Orillia members, husbands, sons, daughters, grandchildren, friends, and our past and present scholarship winners. The scholarship winners in the homes interacted with our guests and definitely reinforced the purpose of our Homes Tour.
