About Us
Established in 1955 as a non-profit organization consisting of thirty-seven charter members, CFUW Orillia has grown to seventy-eight members. The yearly programme provides guest speakers, information on local advocacy issues, and opportunities to develop new friendships.

We are a voluntary, non-profit, self-funded organization, active in public affairs, working to raise the social, economic and legal status of women as well as to improve education, the environment, peace, justice and human rights.
Our major fundraiser is the Homes Tour with all proceeds going to our local Scholarship Fund. The annual Christmas Dinner  and Silent Auction raises money for a local, charitable, community group as well as various educational causes. We have a banquet in the spring with a guest speaker and then we end the year with an informal pot luck dinner in June.
Generally we meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September through April at the Stubley Auditorium, St. James' Anglican Church, 58 Peter Street North,  Orillia at 7:00PM.

New members and potential new members are always welcome to attend. If you would like to join us for dinner prior to the meeting, please contact us .
Participation in our Advocacy and Interest Groups completes the overall CFUW Orillia experience.
